Part 3 of The Abbot Trilogy

On the edge of the world is a desert called Harenja. A sea of dunes that stretches to the horizon. Many believe there are valleys of water and lush forests on the other side, but any who venture into those sands and return know there’s no other side. It’s just sand, ruins, and unspeakable monstrosities. 

The last stop before the desert is Mapsedge. A gritty little speck of a town that serves as Harenja’s gateway. Foolhardy explorers, religious fanatics, and greedy dungeon delvers are the only folk who enter the sunburned landscape. Those who go looking for the fabled lands of green rarely return. Others seek the strange ruins that lay scattered throughout the dunes. Buried in the desert are gigantic structures from an unknown civilisation. What lies within is valuable, dangerous, and rarely easy to get.

The greatest jewel of the desert is the Steelhollow, a hidden fortress with a spire, revealed only when the winds are just right. Trapped within is a god.

Steelhollow is the third instalment of the Abbot Trilogy. While this adventure can be used on its own, or in connection to the previous two adventures: Abbotsmoore and Bitterpeak.

This is an adventure that uses a roleplaying staple for its framework; a town, a wilderness, and a dungeon. This is made for old school fantasy roleplaying games and flexible enough to work with almost any of them. This adventure is not connected to any setting in particular, but could fit anywhere. It’s your classic desert region with a dune sea, dry hot climate, and dangerous encounters.

The Abbot Trilogy is a collection of three system-agnostic adventures; Abbotsmoore, Bitterpeak, and Steelhollow. Adventures designed for ease of use and to ensure weird and wonderful expeditions for your party. Link each adventure and play them as a larger campaign or run as a one shots. They're designed them with re-playability in mind, giving the Gamemaster adventures that feel fresh to run with each group.

While these adventures lean heavily on fantasy tropes, we have interspersed them with science fiction elements. You will find alien remains, laser pistols, and wrecked starships when entering these adventures.
